“Gone Girl” deserves the hype

I finally got around to reading the deservedly best-selling “Gone Girl” by Chicagoan Gillian Flynn, a page-turner thriller that straddles an area between pop fiction and literature. The narrative bounces between husband and wife as the reader tries to figure out if Nick Dunne has killed his wife, Amy Dunne.

This also marked a watershed tech moment for me: I down-loaded the ebook to my Nook application and  read it on my Apple ipad necessitating changing the phrase “a real page turner” to “a real page swiper.” This would be the perfect book for a plane trip to the Caribbean.
