All of these musicals can be done with a minimum of ten cast members. The shows can be expanded to include more people as townsfolk, ensemble members and chorus.
Alice In Analysis- An updated version of Lewis Carroll's "Alice In Wonderland." Alice is now divorced with a daughter contemplating the rabbit hole. Written with playwright/lyricist Jon Steinhagen.
Fat Tuesday- Set in current day New Orleans during Mardi Gras, we meet characters who are letting the good times roll while dealing with separation, illness and loss. Written with playwright/lyricist Tim Pelton.
Sleepy Hollow- A musical adaptation of Washington Irving's classic legend. This play has already been featured in Los Angeles' Disney/ASCAP workshop plus two full regional productions. Written with lyricist Owen Kalt and playwright Judy Freed.
The Virginian- A faithful adaptation of the Owen Wister work of the same name. Commissioned by Theatre Building Chicago, "The Virginian" was featured in Stages 2000, a Chicago summer festival of new works.
Duo- A two person musical about marriage. Libretto by Bill Thomas. Directed by Steppenwolf's Bob Breuler.
